As someone once said in response to a woman who excused her man with the line, “Daddy used to beat him”, “Good.”
I mean, it’s a smart decision. I wonder if the kid was prepared by dear d daddy for that meeting? I am betting he wasn’t. At all. Still, you WOULD expect a prince to have SOME level of courage.
If somebody isn’t secure in themselves and their position then there’s no reason to expect them to have courage about anything. Courage comes from within.
