Episode 311: “Speaking of flying…”
Here’s a look at some of the progress and notes as I’m coloring and tightening an episode…
I had a note to redraw Quimp’s silhouette in panel 4. I drew him trying to hide the blade from view of the dragons but – at that small size – I worried it might be hard to “read”. In the end, I think it works and I left it alone. I also ended up painting a lot of color into panel 4 – maybe too much color – and I could imagine redoing it if I ever find myself with a spare few hours. 🙂

Umh. Actually the map was said to say “at the bottom of the WALL” (which is roughly at eye level), not of the chasm …
