Episode 16: “The Dancing Blade of Death”

This 16th episode of The Middle Age is definitely inspired by the many comic strips with dancing figures – famous episodes of Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts spring to mind. This strip differs from those great comics in that it’s not as well drawn and has slightly more severed orc heads.

And it has way too much blood.

I almost made the splatter gray to make it less grisly but erred on the side of going overboard. I’m glad I did.

  1. I think it is drawn quite well. I also like the severed Orc heads. I also consider the Gothic quite legible. But that’s just me.
