Episode 162: “This may sting!”

Random shout-out to Patreon Supporter Dustin the Dashing! As always, big thanks to my kind supporters on Patreon for making this comic strip possible!

This is our first look at the current humanoid and armored form of Phosphene. We got a glimpse of her before she transformed in one of Quimp’s flashbacks.

This week, drawingwise, I’m most happy with how Quimp is leaning on the Woeblade for support.

Shop talk: As I’ve been assembling the new PDFs, it’s become so evident that my drawing has changed sooo much over the life of this story. I sometimes wonder if the change is too jarring. With each new episode, I kind of feel like I may have finally figured out how to draw.

Thanks again for your kind shares, comments, and support!

  1. Dang she really changed…That figure has Lynda Carter beat and nears Barbie! ? Love the transformation panel … magnificent

    1. Thanks, Rich! Dragons have a measure of control over their transformations (they keep their batwing ears and any body modifications) but they often choose heroic forms. And there’s no doubt that Lynda Carter is heroic. 🙂

  2. I half-suspect that you had Phosphene transform, just so you didn’t have to draw her dragon form anymore 😉
